af2: Son of Firecats owner part of new Milwaukee team's ownership group

The Milwaukee Iron have become the newest member of arenafootball2, the league office officially announced today. The Iron will begin play in the af2 in 2009, and include a name familiar to Florida Firecats fans. Full story »
Firecats sign Bouis to one-year extension

The Florida Firecats announced today that they have signed head coach Kevin Bouis to a one-year contract extension, through the 2009 season. During his four-year tenure, Bouis has guided the Firecats to a 50-20 overall record in the arenafootball2 (af2) league.

Af2: Tennessee Valley beats Spokane on two-point conversion for ArenaCup

The Tennessee Valley Vipers defeated the Spokane Shock, 56-55, in overtime to claim the 2008 ArenaCup Championship in front of a record crowd of 10,662 at Spokane Arena in Spokane, Wash. This is the Vipers' first-ever ArenaCup title in eight af2 seasons. Full story »
