If recipes are like blueprints, then a menu is the city skyline — a panoramic view of the chef’s architectural abilities. At EVOO Market and Bistro, the menu is more Naples than New York. There aren’t any skyscrapers, dishes of awe-inspiring imagination. Instead, these dishes are hurricane proof. Salsa superstar Willy Chirino comes to Naples

Willy Chirino is considered one of the fathers of the “Miami Sound,” a style unique for its fusion of Cuban music, rock and Brazilian-Caribbean rhythms. On this weekend, though, his most important contribution to music may be his friendship and collaboration with salsa legend Celia Cruz, who is being honored Saturday night with the screening of the documentary “Celia the Queen” and Chirino’s live performance at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts.
