Naples police have identified the man who was shot and killed Sunday night as Jacques Lamothe, 63, who lived in the Gordon River Apartments. The name of the second man who was shot and hospitalized is not being released for his safety, said Naples Det. Randy Durniak.     Since March 6, coyotes have been fingered in a string of attacks against dogs, cats and goats in Lee and Collier counties. Coyotes have killed three small dogs, injured three others, and caused a man who came into contact with the coyote’s saliva and a woman who was bitten by one to have rabies shots.
